A New Fruit

My husband planted about 25 plants of these little fruits. They are called ground cherries
and they grow from a plant similiar to a
tomato plant. In the picture below you
will see how small they are. They drop to
the ground when they are ripe.
They have been the talk this summer.
To anyone out there who may have a
grandmother who has them in her
recipe cards, I would love to hear
from you.
